This is just the beginning...

This blog will be used for the purpose of capturing my thoughts for F121: Introduction to Folklife taught at Indiana University. I am a senior majoring in Jewish Studies. I have taken a couple of anthropology courses in the past and thought it would be very interesting to to take this class as it seems to have similar themes and ideas. I have a major interest in music as I play the oboe and piano. I am very excited that we will be studying more about music of other cultures in this course . I also love food and am looking forward to that section as well.
